A Visitors Experience 2025

“Mgeni Experience” is an ethnographic study that explores the Kenyan visitor experience through an anthropological lens, using jewelry, art & material culture to reveal deeper insights into culture, history, and human connections.

Dinner Recap

As part of the Mgeni experience, we created a limited series of bespoke utensils for our special guests with Greenthing. This unique collaboration blends sustainable design with cultural storytelling, transforming everyday objects into vessels of memory and meaning. Rooted in ethnographic study, the collection of glassware draws from traditional practices, personal histories, and regional aesthetics to offer an intimate, tactile experience that deepens the guest’s connection to place, people, and ritual.

We set up a confession booth where visitors shared their thoughts, stories, and heartfelt reflections about their experience with us — raw, real, and unforgettable.
