For TK, material exploration is at the core of our practice—it allows us to continually uncover new ways of making, while ensuring that each project remains alive, evolving, and open to new life as fresh knowledge and insights emerge. This year, working with collaborators who challenge and expand our processes has pushed us to new levels of craft and innovation. Returning to material culture and experimentation, we are trying out new techniques that give rise to unique, meaningful products rooted in culture, memory, and making. This ongoing process reflects TK’s ethos: to create work that is never static but constantly unfolding, weaving together history, experimentation, and intentional design.
